El Libro de Métodos de la ICUMSA recoge métodos, tablas y otra información que se considera de uso generalizado en la industria azucarera mundial y que se ofrece en cumplimiento de los objetivos de la Comisión de prestar un servicio de información a sus miembros. Además, existen otros usuarios, y los métodos de la ICUMSA están reconocidos por organismos como la Comisión del Codex Alimentarius, la OIML, la UE y el Código de Sustancias Químicas Alimentarias de EU.
La primera edición del Libro de Métodos de la ICUMSA, en formato de hojas sueltas, se publicó en 1994. La última edición del Libro de Métodos de la ICUMSA se publicará a finales de 2026.
