The International Commission for Uniform Methods of Sugar Analysis  Ltd. (ICUMSA) is a world-wide body which brings together the activities of the National Committees for Sugar Analysis in more than twenty member countries.

ICUMSA Methods Book

The ICUMSA Methods Book contains all Methods and Standards and Specifications endorsed by ICUMSA.

ICUMSA Methods are recognised by authorities such as the Codex Alimentarius Commission, the OIML, the EU and the US Food Chemicals Codex.  The last edition of the ICUMSA Methods Book was published in 2024.

ICUMSA Methods Book Supplements

After each ICUMSA Session (normaly every two years) Supplements to the ICUMSA Methods Book are issued to:

  • add new methods, Standards and Specifications; and
  • revise and rewrite existing methods where necessary; and
