Description
This method determines the photometric grade of white sugar in relation to the Braunschweig colour-types by measurement of the ratio of reflectance at two different wavelengths.
The Photometer used is calibrated using either Braunschweig Colour Standards (primary standard) or Ceramic Tiles (secondary standard).
For sugars having colour type values < 4.85, the absolute difference between two results obtained under repeatability conditions should not be greater than 0.14 and under reproducibility conditions not greater than 0.55. For further information, please visit the homepage of this product.
