Description
The Reducing Sugars content of Raw Cane Sugar, Cane Processing Products and some Speciality Sugars (with low levels of invert sugar) is determined by titration with Fehling’s solution.
The method has Accepted status within ICUMSA® due to its wide use, but precision data has not been determined.
It is recommended that Method GS4-3 is used for cane molasses purchasing contracts.
