Industrial safety is cost-effectice

While the incidence of accidents in the sugar industry falls within the average for all industries, there are wide differences between factories. A method which places industrial safety in the context of quality, productivity and cost-effectiveness has been successfully used for a number of years in the paper industry and has meanwhile also been adopted by the Südzucker group. The paper describes the components, application and results of this method.
