BWS Technologie will be called Buckau-Wolf

BWS Technologie GmbH will be renamed Buckau-Wolf GmbH on January 1, 2022. The changed company name ties in with the previous main business areas and the company tradition. “The abbreviation BWS already stood for the two areas Buckau-Wolf sugar technology and Supraton mixing technology. In addition, the company is the successor to Buckau R. Wolf AG, which was absorbed by Krupp Industrietechnik in the 1970s,” explained Managing Director Rüdiger Mackenthun. The name change also symbolizes the sustainability of the products. Because despite the social changes and the economic structural change, the customers of the sugar industry continued to be supplied with Buckau Wolf products. The many centrifuges that are still reliably in operation after decades testify to their durability.

Buckau Wolf is an owner-managed, medium-sized company specializing in special machine construction with a long history. “Our market activities are internationally oriented. We offer our customers high-performance, reliable machines, experienced process engineers, flexible service and technically sophisticated answers to their questions,” says Mackenthun. The Buckau-Wolf business area is known in the sugar and dextrose industry for high-quality centrifuges and vacuum pans. In the area of mixing technology, Supraton stands for high-performance inline homogenizers, which are used around the world in about 400 variants and many different mixing processes. Suprajet stands for the maximization of gas production in biogas plants thanks to the preparation of the substrate using cavitation technology.
