Berlin Symposium on Sugar Technology

Berlin Sugar Symposium

In line with the tradition of the Berlin Sugar Institute, the Department of Food Process Engineering of the TU Berlin is pleased to announce a 1-day scientific Symposium on Sugar Technology. The aim of the meeting is to bring scientists and technologists from academia and industry together and create an opportunity for dialogue and discussions. The symposium should be a stage for exchange, challenges and stimulus for cooperation while being an inspiration to the junior researchers and technologists. We are looking forward to welcome you in Berlin for an exciting Sugar Symposium on 31st of March 2023.

The program will follow shortly.

 

Subject to further open submissions subject areas are:

  • Crystallisation of sucrose and non-sucrose sugars
  • Purification of technical sugar solutions
  • Technical non-sucrose sugar solutions – purification and properties
  • Process modifications due to energy shortages

We would like to invite and encourage you to contribute yourself next to a few invited lectures. Please send your abstracts (250 words) with the authors, and institution names represented to karl.schlumbach@tu-berlin.de.

The deadline for abstract submission is January 10th, 2023.

 

Registration will open in January 2023.
