The Boards of ESST (European Society for Sugar Technology) and VDZ (Verein Deutscher Zuckertechniker) have decided to postpone the 7th ESST/VDZ conference and exhibition to 2022. The conference should have taken place between 9 and 12 May in Liège, Belgium. The postponement is due to the current Corona situation in Europe. The 2022 conference will take place from 22 May to 25 May, in Reims, France.
The decision to delay the event rather than move it to a purely digital format highlights a growing consensus among specialized industrial societies.
