The author examines the possibilities of application of the ion exchange resins to the second carbonatation juice, to the second syrup or to molasses.
Then are taken into consideration the sugar losses, the juice percentages to be treated and how the cristallization section is less ckarged thus increasing its productive capacity.
The equipments and the more suitable resins are then examined.
