German clean-air directive sets limit for dust emissions

This paper looks at the new German clean-air directive, particularly in respect of dust emissions in its general section as well as in the specific section 5.4.7.24 1 “Sugar beet pulp driers”. Based on available data from recent years of two companies, it explores the possible consequences of the new limit on dust emissions and describes measures to reduce such emissions.
