Results of bulk density measurements of pressed and dried pulp

In view of the relevance of the bulk density, particularly for dimensioning conveyor installations, three regression equations for the bulk densities of pressed, dried and molassed dried pulp are presented. Owing to the fact that the dry substance contents differ from the data in the literature, the results for pressed pulp diverge considerably, while those for dried and molassed dried pulp agree closely with the previously reported data.
